Education program for obtaining microqualification of the basics of catering
Program duration: 300 hours
Conditions for enrolment: Possession of previous qualifications at minimum level 1 HKO and valid sanitary card
Module name: Basics of catering
The goal of the module: to enable participants to apply the techniques of serving different types of dishes, drinks and beverages and to choose the appropriate technique when providing services of serving food, drinks and beverages in catering facilities according to the rules of the profession.
Methods of work: guided learning and teaching process, work-based learning, independent activities of the participants.
Method of teaching: regular classes with the possibility of performing a theoretical part of the program via online real-time transmission.
Method of knowledge testing: Final verification of acquired knowledge by oral and/or written tests, as well as the skills of participants with project and problem tasks, based on predetermined criteria for evaluation of achievements.
